Company Profile

Our History
ICC Foods, Inc. was founded originally as a sole proprietorship in 1991 under the name Stoltzfus Kountry Kitchen. Known as a quality dessert manufacturer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, SKK provided a complete line of ready to serve desserts to delis and farm markets in the PA, NJ, DE, and MD regions. The company evolved into a full line packer of gourmet quality jar goods in 1995 as well as a dessert manufacturer with even broader distribution. The line up of jar goods include pickled vegetables, salsas, marinades, sauces and butters, fruit, jams, jellies and mustards among other unique items often private labeled.

Where We Are Today
In recent years ICC Foods has emerged into new markets which require bulk production of both shelf stable and refrigerated food products in glass and plastic used in varied applications. Between ICC Foods, Inc. and its affiliate, Intercourse Canning Company, we employ 40+ people occupying nearly 20,000 square feet in Intercourse, Pennsylvania. ICC Foods is an FDA Registered facility and is working on meeting stringent HACCP guidelines in preparation for application as well as developing all-natural and organic certification.

ICC Foods has recently expanded its manufacturing capacity, nearly doubling its throughput, as the demand for its services continues to show steady improvement. With new market penetration, continued growth in the existing markets and new customers, this additional capacity will make ICC Foods a strong alternative for those seeking small to medium size packing capabilities in the NE region of the United States.

Business has increased steadily over the years with the recent addition of steam heated higher capacity kettles, filling machines, cappers, and soon to be added pasteurizing and cooling equipment which are used in both cold and hot fill applications.

Other equipment includes:

Tumble Filler: used to automate the filling of fruits and vegetables.

Hot Fill Machine: used to fill 1.5 oz to gallon plastic and glass jars.

Capping Machine: automates the capping and tightening process.

Pasteurizer and cooler: through an uninterrupted process of super steam heated water baths and cooling, jars are heated to the temperature necessary to seal the product and cooled in preparation for the last step. (Projected 2010)

Coding and labeling: automated coding and labeling systems, after final inspection, make for an efficient end to the packing process prior to palletizing for shipment.

ICC Foods, Inc. can pack jars from mini size (1.5 oz) to one gallon size (128 oz) containers, to 5 gallon buckets and 55 gallon drums as well.
